Wunderhorse have dropped a live video for their debut album, Cub’s standout track, ‘Purple’. Filmed at London’s Karma Studios, the track is performed with a raw energy that allows its lilting guitar chords to support effortless melodies that build and build to a gritty climax. Frontman Jacob Slater allows himself to indulge in more introspective moments throughout the track, with mellow textural dips exposing his emotive voice. The band have been touring with Pixies and Fontaines D.C. around the world, and are heading out on a headline tour later in 2023, as well as appearing at numerous festivals this summer. -Dan Peeke
